A controlled release of silver ions ensures that the antimicrobial effect remains constant over time - even after repeated washing.
The material withstands high temperatures and can be used in sterilization processes up to 130 °C.
Materials have been tested in accredited laboratories according to ISO 22196:2011, with documented reduction of relevant microbial types of up to 99.9%.
Suitable applications include environments with high requirements for hygiene and sanitization, such as medical equipment, assistive devices, food and pharmaceutical machinery, catering equipment and public installations.
