General info about KLEEblower
KLEEblower is our own series of side channel and turbo blowers. We have chosen the design and top quality components for the manufacturing making us able to offer our customers exactly the side channel blower that we think is the best on the market.
All shipments are quality checked by Klee employees before they leave the factory. Kleeblowers are reliable, durable and require very low maintenance.
Side channel blower
What is a side channel blower and how does it work?
Side channel blowers can either provide vacuum or pressure. They transport air by allowing a fan to rotate rapidly, thus forcing air forward through a tight, narrow air inlet/outlet at high speed.
Three-dimensional blower impeller rotation enables the air between the vanes to accelerate along the radius direction. The air is forced to return to the base of the impeller due to pressure difference throwing it outward and forward through a spiral path. This action is repeated and causes the air gain pressure until it reaches the outlet port of the housing. The air is ejected from the impeller and from the blower through the outlet.
Where are side channel blowers used?
Below you find examples of a application areas. You may know side channel blowers from bouncy castles for children where the blowers blow air into the big bouncy pillow. Or you may know them from your local car wash where they blow air on cars to dry them after the car wash. They can also extract air and can be used for extraction tasks.
Areas of application for vacuum
- Food washing equipment
- Exhaust gasses
- Powder and granule conveyors
- Paper cutting equipment

What types of KLEEblower side channel blower do we offer?
There are two basic types of side channelse blowers, one type for pressure and one type for vacuum.
Kleeblower type KB delivers on the vacuum side up to 1344 m3/h and a vacuum down to 650 mbar. It is recommended to use a vacuum limiting valve to protect the fan from overheating and exceeding the permissible vacuum.
Kleeblower type KB delivers on the pressure side up to 1344 m3/h and a differential pressure of up to 780 mbar. It is recommended to use a pressure relief valve to protect the fan from overheating and exceeding the permissible pressures.
Turboblowers
What is a turboblower?
Turboblowers are specially designed for large flow, low noise and high
efficiency. They are made of aluminum. All models are lightweight models
and are especially good at running in hot areas and are therefore suitable for continuous operation. The rotor blades are balanced so that they rotate stably at high speeds and with very low vibration.
Where are turboblowers used?
You can use turboblowers for:
- Woodworking machinery
- Destruction furnaces
- Dryers
- Hot airblowers
- Plastic separators
- Laminating
- Film machinery
- Textile machinery
- Grain elevators
- Household machinery
- Printing machines
- Machines for the refrigeration industry
